Disgusting: Bernie Sanders Just Said The Boston Bomber Should Be Able To Cast A Tie Breaking Vote In The Senate
In what is sure to be a campaign ending gaffe, Senator Bernie Sanders (I, VT) told a crowd at a CNN moderated townhall that the convicted mass-murdering terrorist Dzhokhar Anzorovich Tsarnaev should be able to cast a tie-breaking vote in the senate.
“Wait, you’re going to let a terrorist preside over the senate and decide on vital questions of domestic policy and national security?” asked a baffled Anderson Cooper. “Absolutely,” replied the 78-year-old senator.
“For too long the millionaires and billionaires have had far too much power in setting our political agenda and influencing legislation. When you have growing inequality with 99% of all new wealth going to the top tenth of the top one percent ordinary Americans like Dzhokhar Anzorovich Tsarnaev are completely shut out of the process. Giving Dzhokhar a deciding vote in the senate is an integral part of- what I like to call- a political revolution this nation so sorely needs”.
Some men just want to watch the world burn.
The senator’s twisted words no doubt provided solace to hardened criminals and jailbirds everywhere. While patriotic Americans can debate the issue of mass-incarceration in good faith, the Vermont senator’s radical solutions are the most extreme measures proposed thus far short of emptying the jails and letting the crooks run the show! Let’s hope cooler heads in the Democratic Party prevail in the upcoming primary. Recent polls show South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg surging among likely voters. His innovative, data-driven solutions are sure to resonate with pragmatic progressives who fear Sanders and his thuggish followers.
