Pope Francis Meets with Antichrist

This Wednesday Pope Francis met in the Apostolic Palace with “the one destined for destruction”. Coming on the heels of a nine-day international trip by “the deceiver,” the high-profile meeting has been much anticipated by the press, given the public sparring by the two figures. Last year in fact, “the lawless one” took to twitter “speaking pompous words against the Most High” (Daniel 7:25).

In the brief 30 minute encounter the Pope discussed issues of international peace and security with “he who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” (Thessalonians 2:3-4). The pontiff described the meeting as “cordial”.

In recent years Pope Francis has drawn attention to issues of social justice, speaking out against world poverty and penning “Laudato si”, his encyclical on climate change, in contrast to “the beast from the Earth” who has repeatedly denied climate change and “denied that Jesus is the Christ” (John 2:22).

Despite their differences, by all accounts the meeting went smoothly, with the antichrist stating “he’s really something”. As he spoke “three foul spirits like frogs came from the mouth of the dragon, from the mouth of the beast, and from the mouth of the false prophet. These are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty” (Revelation 16:13-14).

The meeting is a welcome change for the Antichrist who is embroiled in a political scandal back home where bipartisan support is beginning to emerge to throw the false prophet into a lake of sulfur and fire to be tormented day and night, forever and ever.
